When it comes to property investing, Centuria is very much a hands-on fund manager. As a fully integrated property group, we undertake all property management, leasing and development activities in-house.
Being able to draw on specialist capabilities across our business helps us drive better returns in two key ways; it gives us a deeper understanding of our property assets and a closer relationship with our tenants. This has delivered high occupancy rates and healthy WALEs (weighted average lease expiries), which has, in turn, helped our funds deliver consistent income returns.
Importantly, having in-house capabilities help us maximise value for investors throughout the process of acquiring, upgrading, leasing and, ultimately, divesting property assets.
