Head of Risk – Lending
Australasian real estate funding solutions provider, Centuria Bass Credit (CBC or ‘Centuria Bass’), has appointed experienced legal and risk professional, Luke Jaggar, as Head of Risk – Lending, effective from 1 July 2025.
Mr Jaggar joins Centuria Bass’ Sydney office and brings a wealth of portfolio risk management, transaction execution and legal experience across lending and financial markets in Britain, Europe, New York, Dubai and Australia having hailed from blue-chip global financial institutions UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Nomura International as well as law firms Shearman & Sterling LLP and Clifford Chance LLP.
With more than 25 years’ experience, Mr Jaggar will oversee Centuria Bass’ lending opportunities through a risk, regulatory and legal lens. He will report to Joint CEO’s, Giles Borten and Nick Goh.

Mr Jaggar holds a Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences), Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and is an admitted solicitor in NSW, QLD and England & Wales. He was previously the Governor of the Central Foundation Girls’ School in London.
As at 31 December 2024, Centuria Bass manages $2.3 billion in AUM, a +21% increase within six months.
Centuria Bass was founded in 2016 and, since its inception, it has provided compelling returns to wholesale investors on secured private credit loans.
