In the depths of a freezing winter evening on Thursday 12 June 2025, more than 300 property and financial services professionals convened at The Ivy Ballroom in Sydney’s CBD to help raise a record $204,000 for St Lucy’s School, which educates students with disabilities ranging from mild to severe intellectual disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and sensory impairments.
Since 2012, Centuria has hosted its annual trivia fundraiser for the school but this year’s efforts exceeded all others. The funds will contribute to St Lucy’s psychology program for students and their families alike.
The attendees, many of whom are regular supporters of this yearly fundraiser, were once again captivated by Master of Ceremonies, Vince Sorrenti.
Since 2008, Centuria has remained committed to supporting this North Shore Sydney school and the vital work it provides.
John McBain and Jason Huljich, Centuria Joint CEOs, said, “Centuria is extremely proud to continue fundraising for St Lucy’s, which works tirelessly to help children from kindergarten to high school, grow, learn and flourish in our community. Their work is truly inspiring.
“We are amazed by the way the property industry comes together each year in support of this fundraising night. The generosity displayed is truly humbling and we sincerely thank our peers and colleagues.
“We are also very proud of our team who provide further support for the school through volunteer days each quarter. These are just small examples to show how Centuria continues to create shared value with the wider community.”
