On Thursday 26 June, Centuria Office REIT (ASX: COF) Fund Manager, Belinda Cheung, was honoured with the Rising Star of the Year award at Money Management’s 37th Annual Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2025.
During the gala ceremony, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney, Ms Cheung collected her accolade in front of hundreds of the country’s best fund managers, distributors and investors.
Currently, she is Australia’s only female listed fund manager.
Ms Cheung commented, “It is an honour and privilege to be recognised among such high-calibre peers. This award is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Centuria team through one of the toughest markets in our careers to date.
“It inspires me to continue striving for excellence and innovation in the sector and validates our commitment to preserving unitholder value. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the judges for this award, Money Management, Momentum Media and Lonsec.”
Currently, Ms Cheung manages a portfolio of 19 high-quality metropolitan office assets (93% A-Grade) worth $1.9 billion, providing a healthy 4.2-year Weighted Average Lease Expiry (WALE) and 91.4% occupancy1 (national occupancy is 84.0%).
Ms Cheung joined Centuria in 2018 and her career has evolved from a role as a Finance Manager across listed and unlisted property funds, to specifically focusing on COF, which is Australia’s largest listed pure-play office REIT. In April 2022, she was promoted as COF’s Assistant Fund Manager and subsequently became COF’s Fund Manager in early 2024.
She has more than 15 years of experience across funds management, strategy and analysis, financial reporting and assurance, with exposure to office, retail, healthcare and industrial sectors.
