Introducing our latest LifeGoals Investment Bonds product enhancements

Centuria are always listening to advisers and investors to drive the development of our product to a best in market offering. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our latest product enhancements.

New Investment Options

The Centuria LifeGoals investment menu has been expanded with seven new investment options to offer investors a wider choice of high quality funds and the ability to diversify an investment across more asset classes and global regions.

Cash and Fixed Interest Funds

  • PIMCO Australian Bond Fund
  • PIMCO Global Bond Fund

Diversified Balanced Funds

  • Pendal Sustainable Balanced Fund

Australian Share Funds

  • Alphinity Sustainable Share Fund
  • Greencape Broadcap Fund

International Share Funds

  • Vanguard International Small Companies Index Fund
  • Walter Scott Global Equity Fund (Unhedged)

Investors should also note that the Antipodes Global Fund – Long, has been replaced with the Walter Scott Global Equity Fund (Unhedged) as an Investment Option in Centuria LifeGoals.

ESG (Responsible) Investing

Investors are increasingly demanding that their wealth is invested in a way that provides greater focus on environmental sustainability, positive social impacts and strong governance (ESG), collectively referred to as ESG (responsible) investing.

Centuria Life is excited to give investors the opportunity to participate in ESG investing with the inclusion of two new investment options:

  • Pendal Sustainable Balanced Fund
  • Alphinity Sustainable Shares Fund.

What are the key considerations to ESG Investing?

In order for a fund to be included as an ESG Investment Option, Centuria’s Investment Committee have sought Investment Options that have strong ESG practices contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) who are signatories to the Principles of Responsible Investing (UNPRI).

Integration of two PDS’

Centuria Life Multi-manager Investment Options have now been integrated into one PDS with the LifeGoals externally managed investment options to provide investors with the opportunity to:

  • More simply navigate their way around all Centuria Life investment options
  • Make applications and additional investments across all investment options with a single application form.

The 28 Centuria LifeGoals Investment Options will continue to be offered as externally managed Investment Options and the three Centuria Multi-manager Options will continue to be managed by the Centuria Life Investment Committee.
