Centuria acquires key assets for $150 million; announces capital raising
Centuria Metropolitan REIT purchases Perth and Melbourne commercial properties as part of growth strategy Centuria Property Funds today announced that its listed office fund, Centuria Metropolitan REIT (ASX: CMA), has made three major acquisitions in Perth and Melbourne. The acquisitions mark Centuria’s first foray into the Perth office market, and strengthen CMA’s lead as the largest pure-play metropolitan fund manager in the market.
Centuria Healthcare Direct Medical Fund No. 1 – closes for investment
After a two and a half year Investment Period, Centuria Healthcare’s first “Direct Medical Fund” has successfully reached its target value and closed for investment. The Fund will now be actively managed throughout the Portfolio Management Period, being up to 4 ½ years from July 2107.

Overwhelming investor support: 99.9 per cent positive unitholder vote Centuria’s listed property division today announced it will merge its two listed property trusts, Centuria Metropolitan REIT (ASX: CMA) and Centuria Urban REIT (ASX: CUA). Separate unit holder meetings conducted this morning saw unitholders for both funds vote to merge their respective REITs with over 99.9 per cent approval.

Projected improvement in Brisbane office market fundamentals drives unlisted fund
Centuria has purchased 1231 Sandgate Road, Nundah for $106.25 million to form a new unlisted property fund Centuria Property Funds today announced the launch of its latest unlisted fund, Centuria Sandgate Road Fund (the Fund). The property was acquired this week for $106.25 million. Combined with other acquisitions made this financial year, it will increase Centuria Capital’s total funds under management (FUM) by $457 million to $3.8 billion.

Centuria is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ross Lees as Trust Manager, Centuria Industrial REIT. Mr Lees will commence with Centuria on Monday, 10 April 2017. Mr Lees joins Centuria from Dexus where he held senior transactional and portfolio management roles in the Industrial sector. Heathley Keystone Property Fund No. 34 – Fund returns IRR of 27% on windup
The Manager has successfully completed the sales campaign in accordance with the Fund’s strategy, exchanging unconditional contracts for all three of the properties, providing a 27% investor IRR.

Centuria divests 200 Creek Street, Brisbane
Centuria Property Funds today announced that it has sold its commercial office tower at 200 Creek Street, Brisbane, for $38.7 million. The property has been purchased by Sentinel Property Group.
