The centre is located within Moonee Beach, a coastal suburb located approximately 10 kilometres north by road from the centre of Coffs Harbour and is within the Local Government Area administered by Coffs Harbour City Council. Moonee Market is situated on the eastern side of the Pacific Highway and the western side of Sullivans Road. Surrounding development comprises Moonee Beach Caravan Park and low density, free standing residential housing lots.
