Taking advantage of Adelaide’s ‘Laneway’ culture, Centuria is developing a boutique office development offering A-Grade amenity and floor space. The development is currently underway and is slated to be a 5-star Green star – Design & As-built v1.3 commercial building consisting of 6 floors of office space, associated end of trip facilities, rooftop garden and an onsite retail tenancy.
Centuria was able to work closely with the previous landowner with whom it has a long standing relationship to unlock the site value. Centuria Developments achieved a beneficial Development Approval by working closely with the unlisted Centuria 80 Flinders Street Fund, which holds two neighbouring assets in 80 Flinders Street and 61 Wyatt Street car park. By holding all three assets, Centuria is able to better control the development outcomes from the site and maximise returns. The focus now is on delivering the development and securing the remaining leases with the view to transfer the stabilised asset into its growing funds management platform.
